Simple Contact Form
The Simple Contact Form plugin provides a short public form that allows users to contact you and for you to automatically respond with an acknowledgment page and email. The form also automatically add a reCAPTCHA box at the bottom of each form to prevent spam-bots from spamming your website.
Configure Simple Contact Form
- Install plugin and click Configure.
- Fill in the following fields to configure the form and a public thank you page.
- Reply-From Email: This email address users can reply to. If this field is left blank, users of the contact form will not receive a confirmation emails of their submission.
- Reply-To Email: This email address receives notifications that a user has contacted you via the form. If you intend to make a contact form available for the public, you must enter an email address or else you will not receive messages from your users.
- Email Subject (Admin Notification) and Email Message (Admin Notification): Fill in a subject line and and the text for the body of the email sent to the Forward-To email (filled in above).
- Email Subject (Public Notification) and Email Message (Public Notification): Fill in a subject line and and the text for the body of the acknowledgment email, sent from your site thanking users for contacting the site.
- Contact Page Title: Create a custom title for the Contact page.
- Instructions for Contact Page: Add any text you want to appear on the web page above the form.
- Add to Main Navigation: Check the box if you want to add a link to the contact page in the main navigation. If you have customized the site navigation in the theme configuration, you must add /contact to the custom navigation in order for that link to appear.
- Thank You Page Title, and Thank You Page Text: Once users submit the form, they will be taken to a thank you page, which you can configure next by titling the page and adding any text.
- Save Changes, and your Simple Contact Form is configured. You may return to this page and edit any field at any time.
